This is one press release from PSC that I've been waiting on for quite some time now. If you have a 2012 or newer and running 37's or bigger tires, you can now run one of their ram assist and run a pump to power it too. Check it out...

Awesome! Added to the list. :thumb:

Did you see it mounted at SEMA?

Is it going to work with your Airraid CAI system?

From their website: NOTE! The factory air cleaner box must be removed and replaced with a conical aftermarket cleaner in order to mount the remote reservoir. The factory remote reservoir is removed.

probably not or, not if i use the reservoir. i was kinda hoping i might be able to make this work with just the factory reservoir as that's kinda how i got it setup now. not really sure.

well, I ordered this and went to install it on saturday 11-10. Don't think it is ready for prime time yet. Sent an email to PSC documenting what is wrong with the kit. needless to say that It didn't work. The supplied pump bracket wont bolt to the block with the supplied hardware (bolts are to large for block bosses) and the holes in the bracket are to large to be used with the stock bracket bolts. No instructions available, the pump wont mount to the bracket anyway. Side note, one the passenger side wheel liner is removed it is very easy to remove the pump and bracket. just 2 lines and 3 bolts and serpbelt. Here are some pictures of the kit that I recieved. IMG_0714.jpg for some reason the other picture file sizes are to large.. I will adjust them and add them if anyone is interested

the ram assist "kit" is 1600.00 and the pump kit is 499.00

Do you still have to send in your parts and wait for them to send them back on the 2012+?

no, it is a new steering gear. *UPDATE**** contacted PSC today. Their entire stock of pumps are boxed wrong and the first run of mounting brackets (told 50) mounting holes and supplied bolts are 10mm and the stock setup is 8mms. this can be worked around but I am sure this will get changed. The new pump is in the mail on the way to me. I will do a full write-up and pictures when it all comes in.

this kit work with stock air box on JK Rub 2012 3.6L ???

Not if you use the high volume reservoir. If you use the stock one you can. I opted for the high volume because more fluid equals cooler operating temp.

I'm looking into this and noticed that on the PSC website is does mention that you cannot run the high volume reservoir with the stock air box and requires the use of an after market conical style air filter. Although I don't really play in deep water I don't like the idea of an open exposed air filter. I'm just looking for tips and pics from people that are running this on a 2012-13 so I can do it right the first time. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

I'm still new to jeeps and offroad, but what are the benefits of this exactly?
