Agree. Awesome. You just set up camp there in the snow? Weren't you freezing? How did you stay warm? I'm not much of a camper.

Looks like some kind of rattlesnake. I don't know of any other poisonous snakes in that area. Based on the head shape, it definitely looks poisonous.

I think it was too.... we immediately froze and I wasn’t exactly sure what to do... so from about 12’ away I hit it with a small rock and it turned around and slithered down the mountain into the brush... with it’s tail facing me, I could see a tiny rattler. Kind of scary. We stayed in tighter formation after that.

One of the toughest hikes to do in SoCal is Cactus to Clouds. It begins in Palm Springs Museum to San Jacinto Peak and back to the tram.

The view from Skyline is very nice. Every time I’ve done C2C I have started at 3am. Cool view of Palm Springs

Just got back from a 4 day backpacking trip! First in a long time! Went to Mirror Lake in the Spanish PeaksImage1531092885.980438.jpgImage1531092907.161795.jpgImage1531092964.740169.jpgImage1531093112.042443.jpg
Nice thing was, the trailhead was only 30 minutes from our house!

Hiking is for people that don't have Jeeps. 🙄 🤣

    Looks like a great time!

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
