The build and Pics of JeepAlexander14's unnamed Jeep

I have finally got myself to commit to actually making a build thread, I have been meaning to since I bought my Jeep but never did. So here it is!
First off this is my first car which my dad bought me (yes I am lucky but I am not a little spoiled brat) for my 16th birthday back in June,2014. He bought the Jeep for me from a guy on this forum named LilHulk or something like that. Therefore the Jeep had already had some parts on it which included the lift and the bumpers and some other things. I wish I could have built it from the beginning to get the full experience but that is what my dad wanted to do. However, the reason I picked this Jeep out was because it already had the exact EVO parts I wanted just with one major downfall being the lift and stock axles which I am saving to replace. So this is what it looked like when I bought it...

Man that's a sweet rig. How is that d30 locker holding up? I'm debating a selectable and my 37s are a lot lighter than yours.

Personally I would keep it unlocked, the only reason mine is locked is because of the previous owner. Even though your 37s are lighter that's still a lot of stress on the pinion. If you are trying to get your Dana 30 to last as long as possible then I would keep it unlocked.

Nice! I have been looking for a set and I think I like those the most.
Thanks and your build looks great!

Help wanted on final selection please.
Okay so I got a new job at discount tire since school is almost over so my dad said he would loan me some money until I can pay for the steering and suspension components I desperately need. My steering is loose and all over the place so I'm going to get the following parts for comfort and control.
Please comment on any experience or complaints you have with the following parts
--Evo 3 inch springs
-Rancho adjustable shocks (please help with part number)
-synergy draglink flip and track bar bracket
- synergy tie rod
- fox ats steering stabilizer

Just some background-- I have a dropped pitman arm from previous owner which I need a stock one I think. How much are they? Also I have a teraflex track bar

Great looking jeep,,,, for a 17 yr old!! Just kidding. I think you have a great looking jeep and it will serve you well. I love that you have the American Flag stickers. You are getting a huge head start on the WAYALIFE early on. Keep up the good work.

As far as steering,,, make sure your ball joints are good.:thumb:

how do you like the 5.13gears paired with the 37's?

Honestly I think the 5.13 gears are a little high for a daily driver. Because I am on the highway a lot, my Rpms are higher then I would like them. If I were to go again I think I would go with 4.88 and have a different transfer case like the rubicon so I could get the slow crawl ratio and be able to cruise a little faster on the highway.
