Torque on bolts from rear driveshat to axle

Does anyone know the torque requirements for these bolts (rear driveshaft to axle housing)

    Thanks!

I believe there is no torque spec for those bolts. Tighten them till there snug and use loctite. I may be wrong so wait for another reply

8mm bolts are usually 14-18 ft lbs. And I agree, use loktight.

I just went and and looked back at a thread I made for replacing my rear pinion seal to see if I could locate that torque for you. No suck luck.

I got a copy of the dealerships repair procedure from Computeruser6, and it did not mention that torque either. However, you could ask him if there is one for those bolts. He may be able to get it if it exists.

I just tightened till I was satisfied. No issues to this day so it must be tight enough.

Thanks for the feedback all, appreciate it. I could not find it scouring the interest either.....yep, loctite and tightened up. I marked them and I'll check to see if they loosen, don't think they will.

    Thanks again!

“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
