As an adult I realize it's probably better I didn't...haha. Instead I'm into mountain biking and for the last 3 and a half years my Jeep. If I was into RC vehicles I'd have no time for anything or anyone and probably have even less money... So for now I'll continue to live vicariously through this thread. Keep it up. Maybe you can pay homage to WAL and build a mini Moby. I'm sure you don't need any more ideas...

Edit: I shouldn't have looked at the Axial kit. That may be right up my ally..haha

Thank you very much !! If your really bored, go here, its 46 pages of RC, clouds, tractors, flowers, etc...mostly RC's. Sorry, no porn though.... https://www.flickr.com/photos/jefro59

So far I haven't done very well at stopping building these to save money for my real Jeep, and besides Illinois sucks for having any kind of offroad places and the ones that are here are overrun with side by sides and 4 wheelers, so its easier for me to take these out and trail, I know its not the same, but I still have fun. Honestly I think I have the most fun building ones that no one else has.

I had a thought about building a copy of Eddies white JK, but I got sidetracked with another, the little orange YJ I did that is a few threads down from this one.

It seems I never run out of ideas. Here is a couple I'm working on at the moment

    4x4 VW

Also gave into another temptation, Nitro RC and its fast, fast, fast

I like them! I hear you on a lack of wheeling locations. Same here in TX with all the private lands, but that will change for me in about 6 weeks! Keep at it! Even if I don't comment, I'm always checking back for your updates. (Not in a scary, stalker kind of way )

I'm kinda the same way, I usually see whats happening here, and another forum, my dying scale rc forum. Its slowly fading away, and it used to be crazy busy.

Thank you saying that, I lose faith fast and figure I'm bothering everyone, because its not really Jeep related, so I hesitate sometimes in posting my builds. No worries on the stalking part, I'm not very cute...

EDIT = I would have thought Texas would have some great places, but then I've only driven through the panhandle (think that's what they call it) so I guess I really don't know.

Yeah, well, Texas is all privately owned lands in one form or another (personally or government). You either need to own some, know someone that does or go to an off-road park. I'm looking forward to being back in AZ. I didn't have my Jeep last time I lived there, but know of several trails near the new home and many more within a few hours drive.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
