That would be neat to watch. Hope someone else brings a winch or two. I really loved the part talking about the articulation. It didn't look like the front sway bar was disconnected.

LOL!! no kidding - in fact, i think they were talking about how much ground clearance they had in one of the clips they were hanging a tire. when i saw it, i was thinking, well yeah, you have the front tire about 3' off the ground :biggrinbounce:

How would a stock JK X perform on the Rubicon Trail, or any trail about the same rating for that matter?

Haha! Cool little video. You know this statement (and video) from that jeep webpage could almost be used as ammunition for the Jeep owners who have warranty issues at the dealer service centers when the owners are told "that is not the intended use of the JK"

"TRAIL RATED®
— MADE TO OVERCOME
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE TRAIL RATED®?
The freedom to go anywhere and do anything. The recognized standard for proven off-road capability. Jeep® Trail Rated® vehicles pass a series of grueling tests designed to prove off-road performance on the world's most demanding terrain."

I have to say, jeep is really coming out with some great new stuff. My mom got the new Grand summit overland, the interior is one of the best I have ever seen, not just by jeep standards either. Rides great and tackles weather with no problems at all. It isnt a vehicle I would take up a trail that I do with my wrangler, but, vehicles like that is what will help keep the wrangler from becoming to soft IMHO. With all the niceness of the 2012 jk, I do not believe that it has lost any off its ability.

I have more problems with Jeeps website. Have to reload everything several times and even then it only works 20% of the time. Maybe some kind of setting on my PC I'm not aware of. I never have any problems on any other site.

I saw on the other videos they had their disclaimer about making sure the water isn't more than 19" deep or it may damage the vechicle and/or void the warranty.

I happen to like to see videos like this from Chrysler. At least they are showing that they do design our vehicles pretty capable from the get go. Of course there is room for improvement with all vehicles depending on what you want to do with it. I'm sure my stock sport can do more than some other manufacturer's offerings and they can't take their doors and roof off. :bleh:
