Just received a decent keychain from Jeep. Very cool. Unfortunately they didn't check to make certain it fit the key and I had to enlarge the hole. Also would have been cool in black to match my interior. Oh well, it was free and now resides on my spare key.

Mine also broke within two months. The little metal bar holding the leather on snapped, was really nice while it lasted though!

Anyone else wondering why they didn't receive a key chain from jeep?

I was saddened today because I broke the keychain I've had through 7 different wranglers.

I received one about a month after purchase. Spare key and key chain are still in new condition.

The leather on mine is coming apart now, I ended up getting a Northridge one that looks cool as its the Jeep grill wil cut outs for the lights.

We just got our leather Jeep keychain in the mail today.

My wife was all excited for .5 seconds, until I told her about a thread I read on wayalife and directed her here.

... it too, now resides on the SPARE key.

I received 2 of them in the mail as well. One broke and the other is so loose that keys just fall of it. Bummer because it actually looks nice IMO.
