We're planning a trail but haven't decided which one yet. Something challenging not too far from Phoenix. Probably east or northeast. Open to suggestions and hope you'll join us.

I know up the 87 is Sunflower Mine Trail which is a 3 and a pretty cool trail. Just before Sunflower is Log Corral which is pretty easy but has 1 challenging rock garden. It also goes over the top of the hills to Bartlett Lake and you can cross the Verde and spit out in Carefree somewhere. Payson has a good trail that about 3 with a very tricky waterfall at the end.
I would love to join but I have other plans that weekend.

Loved Sunflower Mine. Pyeatt Draw is one of my favorite trails. Hope you can join us on one eventually.

Looks like I will be in barring any unforeseen circumstance. It'll be nice to run a trail a little closer to home, too. :thumb:
