Air Pressure With 40s

What air pressure are you guys running with your 40s. I'm on 40/13.50/17 Toyos and I'm currently at 26psi. I did a chalk test and it shows about 1/2" of the outer edges not making contact (inside and outside 1/2"). I don't think I should go below 26psi. Thoughts.

I run 22psi in my trail grapplers around town. On long trips I go to 26.

I run 27 in front and 26 in back. Chalk test determined it.

I have Toyo's 40x13.5x17 and run 26 to 27 on the road. Better fuel mileage also.

I run mine a little high most of the time, better mileage, and I figure it makes up for when I drive around aired down sometimes.

Sounds like you're in the right neighborhood.

I've been running mine at 28psi on the Toyo Open Country MTs
