"Graph" just hit 100K

Well, my 2010 JKU hit 100k while on my way to work tonight. Still running strong. You guys got me all worried about that 3.8L and how long it will last me now. Especially with all the horror stories out there lol

I need to double check but I think I'm about 127K on my 2010, 315's since 6 months new and 37's since Mar 2015.

Depends on your driving and maintenance habits I guess. I change my transmission and rear diff oil every 15k miles or sooner if I've been pushing it hard. Oil change every 6k - full synth since new. Now running high mileage synth but it's still running well.

I'm still on goal to do an LS swap so hoping the maintenance keeps it going until then. :thumb:

Congratulations! I will say one thing, I have more faith in the old 3.8L motor than I do with the 3.6L. I got well over 100k out of my 3.8L before doing an LS swap.

I maintain mine but my driving habits are not gentle ones. I'm still going strong.

exactly why I do trans and rear diff more often than required :thumb:

I worry more about the auto trany the I do my engine.

Congrats! As "weak" as the 3.8 is it seems to have less problems than the 3.6 so I don't worry about mine going anytime soon. When it does knuckles might be a trail rig only by then and would benefit from an LS swap

Had 107k on my 08 model when I traded it off, no issues.

191,000 KMs on my 08, motor rebuilt under warranty at 69,000 KMs for excessive oil consumption. Rock solid, runs strong, sounds smooth. Dino oil every 5,000km. Take care of your jeep, and your jeep will take care of you. I'm happy with the 3.8l

A force to be reckoned with... 176784... 2007 3.8l manual... I should easily turn 300000.

Good to hear guys. When the motor either grenades or the new JL comes out, Graph will become a hunting/recreation rig only.
