Another wheel and tire question...

I know, I know but about to spend some big money and want to hear from the experts. I'm looking at 17x9 wheels with 5" of backspacing and 0 offset and 315/70 r17 tires. I'll be putting on the jspec 2.5 kit. Will this cause rubbing issues? This will be a light trail use jeep and will never see full flex or rock crawling. I'm okay with changing the lift if needed. Thanks for any help!

I think you will be good to go. With a 2.5" BB and 4.75 backspacing I had zero rub. I also had aftermarket bumpers, not sure about the stock

Do you have flat fenders or factory? You should be good.

Factory fenders. I'm not too worried about the fenders. I've had 35s on a 2.5" lift before. My main concern is that the wheels will cause issues with 5" of backspacing instead of the recommended 4.5"...
