Seatbelt light removal? Custom seats w/ harness

Hey guys... I figured out how to turn off my seat belt chime, very easy.... but, I've installed some corbeau Baja xrs seats, with harnesses.... and don't know how to make the seatbelt light go away permanently.... any help would be great. And no I don't have the stock seatbelt still in the vehicle.

Have you tried shorting the seatbelt sensor wires? That should do the trick.

Out of curiosity, how'd you eliminate the chime?

The seat belt circuit is a 2 wire design. Connect the 2 wires together. That completes the circuit and turns off the light and chime.

I did mine with the turn key on fasten, unfastened 3 time trick. It shuts the chime off but light is on. All good now when on trail in harness
