Show us your Bug Out Bag

While I am definitely an advocate for preparedness, I try to keep things practical too. Here's my Bug out bag. It is not set up for nuclear Holocaust nor zombie apocalypse. But my family and I have used it many times for simple emergencies. Let's see yours!

Sorry for the photo dump. Mine's more of a bag that would sustain a family of five that is stuck in the Jeep while waiting for help. It does have first aid supplies, but more if we were to go off the road in the winter or get stuck for a long period of time with no help. Keep in mind, I also have a ton of other tools I've posted in other threads and we always take good winter gear anyways when traveling in the mountains that we wear on our person.

Here's the bag.

I'm working on one of these but it'll be more of a box. Two boxes to be precise. Hoping to make progress this weekend but weather not cooperating.

Great looking bag! Looks like you're all set to haul ASS if/when needed.

Thanks. It has really been a life saver several times for us just having the extra stuff right there and ready. I bet we've used the clothing alone five times or so when we or a friend have forgotten a jacket, etc.

Subscribed. Great thread dude.

Thanks. I hope more people show theirs too. GraniteCrystal kind of brought it up. I searched but couldn't find a thread. Then about two hours ago, my wife had to get something out of the bag while we're here out of town. Decided to start a thread. Well worth having.

I will have to pull my bag out of the jeep tomorrow and show what I have in it. Great thread WJCO!

My bag with some of goodies. Work in progress, have some other little things I keep in the jeep. The red bag is my first aid bag, everything from basic to surgical kit.

This one I carry just in case for those "Oh shit!" moments.

I also carry a bag for tools, and another for recovery equipment while wheeling.

This is not exactly a bug out bag...

I carry a fanny pack with these contents and clip it to the harness bar of any of the three rigs I own...whenever I leave the jeep to take a short cruise, I put it on:
