I used to see one of those on an occasional drive. It still had the big medic star on the side and equipment in the back. I tried buying it but the guy kept saying he will call back and never did. 45k seems steep for it

I actually paid and built that rig for myself 6 years ago.
Here is a pic of it when I first purchased it


It is solid in every way.

I know how much he paid me for it and know he will sell it for less than that. He is just fishing.

That's an awesome build. I feel like you changed enough to make it contemporary and bad ass but still let it's roots shine through. What kind of engine was in it originally?

Originally it had a flathead straight six. It is a dodge M43 ambulance
Same engine/transmission etc as the M37
