My brother and I are planning a two week trip to moab next year with the family. What are some of the best places to stay?looking for nice but economical as well

We wanted to take an rv and tow the jeeps but doesn't look like anyone allows towing at the rv rentals.

We stayed in the KOA campground in Moab, they have cabins that are economical. They have deluxe cabins and cheaper cabins in most KOA campgrounds. KOA has a app so you can see what each campground has to offer.

Check VRBO for house and condo rentals. I've had good luck with VRBO for many vacations. There are tons of condos in Moab, so I'd think many would come up on search.

Depending on time frame typical rooms with a decent amenities will run you around 150 a night and upward! You can go cheap, but if you look into the condo's those I've seen down to 500 a week if not less. Not to mention you all can stay in it, plus have a garage typically or a place atleast to keep tops/doors secured.

I'd have to say condo rentals are good, and the new Holiday Inn Express is very nice. As for RV's stay clear of KOA, they are very anti-off road, anti-pet, anti-fun, and have a long standing reputation for that. Our first and last stay there was in '03, we'll never go back. They are super strict about parking and don't even try to check your wiper fluid while at your site security will be ready to escort you out.

Wow thanks for the heads up ! I appreciate advice like this because places like this can ruin a trip

I stayed at the KOA in 2010, 2011. I had no problems with them. A nice, clean place with good staff. 🤓 I think they just got done with a park expansion project.
