Hi all, new member from Denver here. It took me a year to make up my mind but I finally picked up my new '16 JK a couple weeks ago. It's completely stock and will likely stay mostly stock, but we'll see where things go. My main goal is to get access to campsites and trailheads my car just couldn't do, like the primitive campsites up by the sand dunes here in Colorado.
A Jeep was the obvious choice. We've had a red '96 XJ in the extended family for many years, and a bunch of my friends are Wrangler owners (CJ, TJ, and JK).
I chose red to go with the XJ, and to remember its original owner who passed away last summer. I think she'd approve.
