Just picked up my tire carrier from powder coat. Went with metallic gun metal grey. Matches my CC bumper. Just need to installing and my CC rear fender delete armor.

Well, to sandblast the new metal and powder it and all the brackets was $145. And my guys is awesome at it. Top notch job.
The carrier price is a long story, but it should have been like $599.

Got the tire carrier installed. Came out great. Just have to mess with the cam bolts a bit to make adjustments. I think the hardest part was getting my 37 up on the carrier.

Looks awesome! I just picked up a cc body mounted already powder coated black for $450 from a guy off craigslist. He had it on for 6 months. He swapped the cc out for a teraflex.
Pretty straight forward install?

Yeah, pretty easy. Just jee all the bolts loose until it's all on. Then start tightening and adjusting.

Why is that? He probably just didn't want to run a spare anymore. Might have been a little low on price but that's not too bad

I don't like running a spare either. But with A Colorado trip coming this week and then some bigger trips on the schedule, I figured I should have my spare on the jeep instead of in the bed of the tow rig.

Because he said he switched out the CC carrier for a teraflex carrier.

Any long term reviews on this carrier? No damage reported to the hinges or anything like that? Very interested in this and looks more promising than teraflex
