3rd brake light wire

So I'm gonna take my stock tire carrier off until I can get the Teraflex one, what does everyone do with that wire connecting to the third brake light?

Did you want to keep it? If not just cut the wire where it come out of the gate.

Mines been hanging out of the tailgate for 3 years. It isn't visible behind my tire carrier.

You could also put it in the tailgate and tie it up.

Mine is tucked in the tailgate. I got rid of the 3rd brake light.
