I wish I’d read this post before I mentioned the word beadlock to the America’s Tire in my neighborhood. Now they won’t sell me the road hazard on the tires. They won’t even service a tire by itself, even if un-mounted first and brought in. They will at least rotate & balance…

The irony is that their knock off (by name) competitor down the street will not only sell the hazard, they’ll mount the tire on the beadlock at a lower price. I'll probably still purchase from discounttiredirect.com, just an unexpected experience.

I found Les Schwab will balance them but they told me they can’t take them off the jeep and mount them. So I have to bring the wheel/tire combo to them off the vehicle. Pain in the ass. Probably just gonna buy my own tire balance machine eventually.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
