Quick advice- re-use the RK coil spring wedges?

I'm installing the teraflex rear 1" coil spacers to bring up the rear. I currently have the rock krawler coil wedges in there. I'm thinking about running without them so I have more of the perch in the spring. Does it matter?

Finally, the correct rear coil spring orientation- does the little coil on the bottom face so the it wraps around the rear or the front of the perch?

Edit- I ended up pulling the wedges, I think I'm good.

Curious....would longer or adjustable control arms fix that as well?
