WA 580 bypass valve

Hi, due to some trouble on my automatic gearbox I was searching for a solution:
a mechanic specialized in Jeeps, told me that the WA580 has a bypass valve useful for the gearbox warmup...someone knows where it is?

He told me that some times this valve could be blocked or doesn't work properly and some times due to cold temperature it could cause problems to the gearbox...

55111005AC it's the square looking valve on the transmission lines - circled in image:

from what I understand, it's supposed to help with warming the fluid quicker on cold days and then open to flow freely through the transmission cooler. So if it's bad, it could restrict the return flow to the transmission.

I think that particular part is around $45 USD
