I'm putting in a set of prorock 60's on my jk and wondering how people are hooking up their ebrake. It seems the factory cable is to short to be used it its normal routing.

I honestly don't remember having to do anything different on mine. I just went out and tried to see how mine are routed but can't see for shit. If no one else chimes in I'll pull a wheel tomorrow morning & snap some photos for you...

Semi float or full width?

If semi float I can take a pic of mine but it's no different than a standard axle as pictured above.

I'm not in the USA at the moment so can't go out and look at my jeep, but when Offroad Evolution built my Jeep they welded tabs onto the lower control arms, routed the e-brake cables over the top of the frame rails and down along the lower control ams, and secured the cables with zip ties. I'll attach some not so good pics that might give you a rough idea of how they are installed.

Not sure about the ProRock 60 full float rear axle, but on the ProRock 80 in my JK, the rear brakes are 13.9" Jeep J8 military Jeep brakes re-drilled to 8x6.5" lug pattern. Mopar does make a different e-brake cable to fit the J8. I'm not sure which cables were used when Offroad Evo built my jeep.

In these pics you can kind of see where they routed the cables over the frame, down the lower arms, and to the brake. In the last pic you can see it pretty clearly, but it has not been attached to the arm yet.

Not great pics but the best I can do with what pics I do have, without being at home to snap some good ones of the e-brake routing.

Don't know if this will help but the quote I received from Dynatrac for the full float XD60 included a parking brake cable assembly for the military rear brakes.

Just looked at the estimate sheet for my ProRock 80 and it also states the same. So it appears that my Jeep does have the J8 military Jeep e-brake cables.

Disclaimer first - didnt realize that you have FF rear but honestly don't know why the housing and backing plates would be different?
Anyways, sorry for the shitty photos but you can see mine aren't any different from stock. I wouldn't think yours would need to be re-routed like Highoctanes
are as he's got the Evolever system taking up all of that real estate back there. If you're standard coils or coilover I think you should be fine.

Your e-brake assembly looks different that the J8 brakes. The J8 brakes are vented rotors and don't pull the hook inboard to apply the brake, they attach from the front and pull the hook forward, which is I believe why mine are routed down the control arm, to eliminate any bends in the cable to make the cable be as much in line with the direction of cable/e-brake hook movement as possible.

Yup - definitely. The SF is totally different from the backing plates out.

BTW, this is Jeep Porn right here:

As mentioned, if you have a full floater, you need the J8 e-brake cables. You route them across the top of the cross member close to where they come through the tub and then down along the control arm.

You should be able to get them from Dynatrac and no, you won't need a new master cylinder.
