I'll be starting my 1 ton swap this week it will be a slow build. I'll be running an 06 superduty d60 front and matching superduty 10.5 rear.
Who else is running superduty axles! Post your build pictures!
Yes I fit a 72" sterling in my jeep haha

I'll be subscribing to this thread bc I've been pinching my pennies to do the same thing. Have you ever heard of a "super 60"? Ran into some random dude at the junkyard while I was looking for superduty axles and he was talking so sort of crazy talk. Anywho, just wondering what the hell a "super 60" was. Good luck on the swap!!!!

A super 60 was found on the f450/550. It is even wider and has larger knuckles. 10 lug, 10" ring gear, and 1550 u joints.

There is a way to fit the 10" ring gear into the standard 60's.

Thanks for the reply. Like I said dude was talking crazy talk. I'm pretty sure there will never be a time in my life or budget I'll need an axle that big. Lol

I've been running my 05+ Superduty 60 Front & Sterling 10.5 rear since May. It's definitely work to get them to fit but they have performed excellent. What's the phrase here... but I'm just a mall crawler... :)

How does the DTD in the front and bolt on coilsovers in the rear fair whilst at the mall?

I'm sure not as good as DTD in the rear also but works very well. No complaints. I did change Front and rear to AGM sliders to quiet them a bit.

Do you have any close up pics of the front axle on the mounts and the DTD on the driver side axle how much room you have left. I plan on doing this set up thanks
