**rivnut tool needed** knoxville/ pigeon forge

Hey there, just wondering if anybody in the area had a rivnut tool i could barrow for the weekend? My coworker has one but it's a metric version, but i need a standard version able to do 5/16-18. If you can help me out it would be much appreciated!!

Warren, this can be done without special tools. Checkout you tube for some DIY rivnut or nutsert ideas and you will likely be able to devise your own from the ideas given. There are people using small drill/impacts to standard socket wrenches but no shortage of ideas. Good luck and let us know what you come up with.
