Will be doing this soon, mine is leaking coolant. Going to replace thermostat and flush coolant system while I'm at it.

Parts ordered this morning, will be doing this Friday. Picked up oil cooler, intake gaskets, thermostat, coolant system flush/cleaner and coolant. Friday looks to be a long day.

    Cleaning upper and lower intake

Great write up! I am in the middle of this job on my 2014 JK and it is going smooth because of the write up.
What did you use to clean the upper and lower intakes?

I just used a little brake cleaner on a rag to wipe them off.

    Still lealing

I've worked on this leak 3 times. Replaced cooler with amazon one. Pinched oring, replaced all seals on the new one, replaced oring on feed tube with thicker one. Started leaking after a week .

I wonder if the housing itself is bad.

Can a 2019 or -18 fit? Way big price difference from 2015.

I know this is an old thread, but has anybody experienced a vacuum leak and the break pedal going to the floor? Please help.

Are you losing brake fluid? When did the problem start? Vacuum leak and brake pedal going to floor don't usually go together unless the master cylinder is leaking into the booster maybe.

Not sure if the oil cooler replacement thread is what you wanted. Is this a problem you had after the replacement?

“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
