So, where do you all like to go?
My all time favorites are castle valley Utah near Moab. It's a must every time I make the trip.
Yellowstone is another epic place and just outside my old hometown of Snoqualmie Wa.

My favorite is Lands End on top of the Grand Mesa (west end) overlooking Grand Junction, CO. First you get a magnificent sunset toward Moab then you get the blackest sky with, as Carl Sagan would say, "BILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF STARS!"

Right outside Tucson on Redington Pass Rd. Nice thing about Tucson is that you don't have to go too far to get out of the light pollution.

Nice pic. I love Tucson. I had a couple buddies from high school that went to U of A and I visited them a few times. It's beautiful out there.

Out on the fan tail at 0000 under darken ship in the middle of the pond. More stars than you can imagine. If a picture paints a thousand words, that site speaks volumes.

I stargaze by southwest suburbs of Chicago... usually I spot one start but sometimes two .....
I hate you guys, I wish I was out west too.
With all seriousness though I am planning a trip out west and can't wait to stargaze, I was always fascinated by looking into stars

Good thread, I will note the locations, Thanks

At the highest altitude I can get to; these were taken at the top of Mount Mitchell and they hardly do it justice:

With the exception of the dildo, this is a good related thread too:

Thanks! It's a really nice spot, but unfortunately it's a 12 hour drive for me to get there. So no need to be jealous

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
