I know exactly what you mean. I've used some Mothers Show & Shine before and while it looked great right after applying it, my paint just looked "pretty good" a day or two after. I applied this 3M stuff the day before yesterday and only got around to writing a review of it this morning. I just went out side to give my Renegade a look and honestly, it still looks great.

So that it isn't missed, I did get this stuff sent to me for FREE and so that I could test it out. I'm sure this may make a difference in how some of you might receive what I'm saying and I'd completely understand that. For those of you who trust me, I am simply sharing what I've seen. So far, I really like the stuff and I am under NO obligation to say as much.
Oh no. If anyone believes you won't give an honest review, they can spend a little time going through http://project-jk.com/write-ups and see you'll call it like it is. This stuff certainly looks interesting to me.

NEW 3M Waterless Wash & Wax... It Actually Works Well

Might have to pick up a can of this. I have a mobile detailer come over to wash & vacuum my vehicles once a month, and this would be great for in between quick cleanings.

Just because I'm intrigued, this stuff looks pretty cool... My only question is... How does it do on pine sap? I've got a beautiful pine in my front yard... (only decent tree that isn't a friggin palm on the block) only thing is this time of the year it always sheds/sprays little tiny drops(kind of like a mist) of sap all over my Jeep and the wife's Expedition. So I'm constantly having to wash and wax hers... Mine stays in the garage 90% of the time... Hers doesn't fit... Would love to know if this stuff is good enough to help with that.

LOL!! You know as well as I do that people always think that I only recommend things that I get for free. I just wanted to make sure that I was up front and honest about the fact that I really did get this stuff for free.

Too soon to tell as to how it would hold up to pine sap falling on it but I doubt it would clean it off.

I've never really liked the quick detailers I've used before. They never seem to keep my vehicles looking clean more than a couple days, which just isn't worth the price of some. But depending on how long your Renegade stays looking good, I might have to pick up a can and try it out myself

Thanks Eddie, for the review! Did you use it on the black plastic molding as well? Do you think it will fog up like a normal wax on black plastic molding if it sits in the sun?

I like the fact that you can use this on different surfaces. You won't need a bottle of wax, trim detailed, rim cleaner, etc. definitely going to pick up a can when it's released and give it a try. Will make the cleaning supply cabinet a lot neater!

I have always found that a normal wax on black plastic trim would turn into a whitish fog as soon as it dries. I did spray this stuff on everything as a test and wiped it off as instructed and so far, I see nothing like that. Granted, all it did was make the trim look "clean" but not deep and rich the way Armoral or other plastic protectant will. Needless to say, I mainly used it to make my paint look good. I'll try to take a before and after shot of what it does on one of my dirty JK fenders so that you can see what it looks like.

You definitely won't need wax and while a trim detailer isn't necessary, you may still want to use some if you're wanting a deeper and richer black look.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
