You started it bud. Read my profile, I have a winch listed.

Definitely not insecure. One upgrade at a time. D60's and 40's are on the list, but it's a long list.

Must have overlooked that part. I was too focused on his crazy suspension views

That was a long time ago and a different Jeep. See profile, I think it's mostly updated.

I traded my JKU for an LJ.

Can't agree with this more! I have short arms and by the looks of them they have gotten hung up and a few rocks in their life time. The beauty of it is the always come off the rock.

Though I would rather have no winch than run a vehicle with a unibody.
So much badass in one post that you didn't leave any for the rest of us. Get lost. You're a tool.

Properly setup long arms shouldn't get hung up either. If they're set up properly they should slide over the rock, then slide the skid plate, and then the rear control arms. There shouldn't be anything hanging down that could hang them up.

    Typical for someone on longarms:

They ride nice on everything else, but having less clearance is going to get you stuck more often. Seems like simple math to me.

Thanks for posting. Because of your brilliant insight and meme, I'll be crossing long arms off my build-list.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
