    Ive seen some nasty brake systems after someone mixed synth and regular. As mentioned earlier, all seals were extremely swollen and the vehicles required a complete brake system overhaul. Ive never tried flushing out conventional and running synthetic to see if same results. Im not sure if the rubber seal compounds are different or if its just a chemical reaction. Good luck. It wast on Jeeps Ive seen this but Id imagine end result would be the same.

    Part of it is the boiling point is higher the higher the number. I'm sure there's more to it than that but that's all I remember lol you can run a higher number than factory but not lower
