2009 JKU Build

Hello there, this is my first post on the site.

This will be my first JKU project. Just sold my 2004 TJ Rubi. Picked up a salvage 2009 JKU for a great price. This will be my 5th Jeep!

Immediate Plans:
- EVO DTD kit w/ EVO long arms - Do the long arms now standard come as high clearance or do they still need to be special ordered?
- F/R Ultimate Dana 60's 8 x6.5 lug pattern - Like Dynatrac but seemed like Dana U60's came with everything standard whereas Dynatrac was extra. (eg. large 14" brakes, dual piston breaks, etc). Either 4.88 gears or 5.13 gears (ill explain in a minute)
- ~40" tires - Looking at Pitbulls again, maybe Krawlers too. - Any input here? This rig will trailer to the (long trip) trails and see 15~20% street time. Not a daily driver whatsoever. Mostly wheel in KY: rock, mud, climbs
- 17 or 20" wheels. Curious to anyones opinions who've had both
- Warn Zeon 10k winch w/ synthetic rope
- PSC Hydro Assist
- Fusion 4x4 2.5ton steering set up

Near Future Plans:
- LS conversion - Either 6.0 or 6.2
- 6l80e tranny
- Atlas 3:1

*This is my reasoning for the question about gearing*

Everything else (armor, skids, etc.) I consider cosmetic. Anyone have any input before I start buying junk?! Thanks ahead of time as I want to do things right the FIRST TIME this build.
