Pre-EJS week in Moab

Spring break was three weeks before EJS for us this year, so we moved up our Moab trip. We had an XJ, two JKRs, and two JKURs.

We drove from Omaha on Saturday, did Hell's Revenge on Sunday, Elephant Hill and Beef Basin on Monday. One of our guys (a JKUR) had to go back home on Tuesday, but the rest of us did Poison Spider Mesa, Golden Spike, and Gold Bar Rim. On Wednesday, we finished with Cliff Hanger.

The XJ's power steering got beat up pretty bad - he didn't do Cliff Hanger. My tail pipe managed to get modified into a flatter shape, and my front bumper earned a nice dent, on Elephant Hill. I managed to make it all the way to the end of Cliff Hanger without issue - but rammed my tie rod into a rock as I tried to climb out of the beginning/ending staircase. Thankfully, Moab 4x4 Outpost had a used tie rod in their junk pile that I was able to pick up for $50 and swap out in our motel parking lot.

It was a great week. I wish Moab wasn't a 13-hour drive from home!!
