Freshening up my 9 year old JKU. Interior looks okay but I am contemplating a new interior. Can center consoles, steering wheels, dashboards, trim etc from 2012+ fit on a 2008?

Welcome to Wayalife. You'd be better off to buy a 2012+, IMO. Or just buy a new interior, made for your 2008.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the new interior started in 2011. We have an 11 and it looks way different than the 2007-08

This ^^^

Interior changed in 2011. That being said, I don't think you could just swap parts over or very easily anyway.

I have a 2011. It has the new interior, but the old motor and transmission. It's a bit of an oddball. They've also made small changes since then. For example, my friend's 2013 has different seats than mine.

New seats or seat covers can do a lot do freshen up the look inside. I had the old, torn, uncomfortable seat covers replaced with a custom set from Katzkin. They actually made the seats more comfortable.

I am doing the same thing. Gonna go with new leather seat covers form leather seats, steering wheel cover dash kit. gonna build my quadratic extra storage to a slide out drawer on tip of the flip gonna cover and pd those mischief ar rests . maybe add a new dash top with that aluminum bar thing, new carpet probably gonna pad the floor beneath the carpet. and I open to any other ideas anyone has>>>

I would suggest doing something with the tub if you're going to have everything out. Either bed line, or have it looked with the rubber liner before putting carpet back down.

I recommend this too. I had the entire Jeep Line-X'd.

I highly recommend masking off the mounts for the rear seat. Removing the Line-X from them to mount the rear seat back in it sucked.

And, of course, a gratuitous outside shot to show my commitment to bed lining a Jeep.

Anything can be done if you want it too. I know I have read a few threads of people doing it. I have done it to my '97 Subaru Impreza, swapped interior out of a '04 chassis STI, dash everything. Lots of work but can be done. I specifically looked for a 2011< as well becuase I wanted the newer interior!

Buy a new stereo, seat covers, a sportcage and some dash covers (they come in different patterns), that will change the interior and improve your Jeep.

Edit: the dash covers are a personal thing and I don't personally condone installing them... ;)

Are the seat bolt in points the same in the tub, for 07-10 to 11+?
