Beadlocks or axle

What's next?

Trying to decide on buying a set of slabs and tires or a pro rock 60..

Currently locked in the front. I haven't really had any problems crawling the trails I've gone on. Not saying I won't. But I'm indecisive and can't make up my mind on what I want/need.

With the rocks where I'm at are jagged. People have de-beaded while going out. Which is why I'm considering beadlocks.

When you go to the 60 is the lug pattern the same? If that changes the rims change

Depends on if you get a full float or semi float 60. Semi float you can keep in the stock patter but full float you have to change to 8 lug pattern

Going semi float. It's 5x5 lug.

That is where I wasn't sure as I haven't used aftermarket axels before. And all 60s I've had were 8 lug, learned something new

If I didn't build a front 44. I'd be saving for hd pro rock 60s. Lol wish I went that route. Oh well. Lol in a couple years I'll switch to full float 60s.

a 60 is freaking awesome! but i would have to say beadlocks! probably one of my favorite upgrades. being able to air down to 8psi with no problems on the rocks has been great!

That's what I'm saying. Lol kind of need both. I know people that have been wheeling for years and never debeaded. And some have been fine with limited rear and front locker.

I would say axle. Bead breaks you can throw on a spare, as mentioned above, to get home. Break your axle and your pretty much screwed. That's just my opinion.

Another vote for axle. As stated you could easily swap in a spare, or pop the bead right back on the tire.

The prorock has a 1 year warranty, that would cover you for a good part of the 25k

I'd go with the PR. Beads and tires sound nice, but I'd like the reliability of a PR60.
