Need a Rim width recommendation for 40s

I have new Nitto 40/13.5x17's. But now I need to figure out what to do for rims.

I want to stay with Raceline Beadlocks and am also going to Dynatrac PR60's in 8x6.5 bolt pattern

Ok, so with the 60's and the coilovers that I already have. I need 3.75-4.00BS on the rims.

This is where the plot thickens.

I can get the Racelines in 3.75BS and 8.5 wide or in 4.00BS and 9.5 wide

So ignore the BS for a minute... Which rim would be better with a 13.5 wide tire? The 8.5's or the 9.5's?

One recommendation is do the 8.5's because that's 1" of rim that isn't *hanging out there*.

Anyone one else have a recommendation?

I would go with whatever the most back spacing your setup allows.
I'm in the process of my pr60 install.
37x13.5 with a 17x9 wheels with 4" of back space.

Here are my 17x9.5/5x5/4.00 wrapped in 35x12.50's. I know not quite what you were looking for but at least you can get the idea of sidewall and width.
