I purchased my 2010 JK a few months ago and figured I'd do my own "build thread"
2010 Jeep JK Sport
6 speed
1.25" body lift
2" puck spacer lift (yuck)
17" Rubicon wheels wrapped with 255 70 17 A/T's

The day I picked it up.

I've since put over 5000 miles on it since I have purchased it, other than doing some small work to it I haven't had issues (rear brakes, e brake rebuild, slave cylinder) and have no complaints. I really enjoy the jeep. I have taken it camping a few times and took it on a 800 mile round trip to Bethany beach in deleware. 20170624_204250.jpg
I have no complaints about the 3.8, and have no issues with oil consumption. I also have switched to 5w30 high mileage, the jeep had 76000 miles on it at time of purchase.

I am currently building a winch mount bumper sort of thing out of the innards of the stock bumper.

Nice jeep [emoji106]. Yeah honestly alot of guys put a ton of miles on the 3.8 and had few issues. Mine burned oil but for the most part was still very reliable.

Thanks guys!

I just finished the winch "bumper" I made it out of the stock inner metal and a universal harbor freight winch mounting plate, after alot of cutting and mock up I am very happy with the end result. Now to get rid of those ugly stock hooks and replace with d ring mounts! Oh and hook up the winch[emoji28] 20170713_211158.jpg

I have found that the Wal-Mart Hyper Tough brand tool box with 4 drawers fits well in behind the back seat! The jeep also tows the boat well, and stops easily! 20170806_170549.jpg 20170806_131114.jpg

Installed Moog wheel bearings and Ten factory chromoly front shafts over the weekend. Getting closer to being ready for the larger tires. 20170917_191126.jpg 20170917_145915.jpg 20170917_195544.jpg

All new stiffer OEM springs all around, 17/56 vs the stock 13/54s (with a broken rear spring) also got rid of the rear sway bar. Rides better now due to no broken springs 20170930_160238.jpg

Thanks guys, I found them on Craigslist and had been trying to make a deal with the Guy, he ended up short on money and said 300 today and they are yours, so I shot right on over! Rear sway bar removed because the bolts snapped and I didn't have time to fix it before I left for the week

Had a great time at Rausch Creek yesterday! JK wheeled well and I have no complaints, time to go bigger tires though! FB_IMG_1508683452816.jpeg 20171021_121626.jpg 20171021_113315.jpg 20171021_111322.jpg 20171021_101228.jpg 20171021_092049.jpg 20171021_105554.jpg
