Any of you have cool pictures of rivers or waterfalls, post them up. Nothing too special, but here's some I took this weekend while backpacking.

Nice shots, beautiful area.
Here are a couple from the Green Mountains in Vermont after some recent heavy rains. These are usually much more brook-like at this time of year.

Cool thread idea. I love streams, white water and waterfalls are my crack. Can't wait to make a trip out to Colorado again, it'll be a long stay this time.

I have a few. These were all taken within a mile or so of each other up Clear Creek Canyon.

I got a little carried away with the long shutter on this one. Looks like milk.

well I just spent the last couple days roaming about up in Ark. hit the little Missouri Falls and then Caney Creek Falls , I figured as we had some rain then they would flowing a bit better than the last time I was up that way and while the Little Mo. was still a bit in denial Caney Creek was much better than my last visit .................................... DSC_0737 copy.jpg here is the Little Mo ... DSC_0772 copy.jpg and Caney Creek

Love this thread. Although it bums me out terribly being my home rivers have been bastardized and mistreated so bad to the point they are pretty much just dead.

They used to hold some of the best steelhead and salmon runs in Ca. Now all you'll catch is hepatitis or a dead transient stuck to the river bottom.

Pajaro River winter 2017. Major levee damage and almost flooding town again. Now it's back to being a trickle and 3" deep sludge.

Soquel Creek winter '17. Same as above. Bastardized and abused.
IMG_5319.JPG .

Cant not mention the San Lorenzo. Pic taken at the mouth of the river on a crazy high flow day. I still get out and fish this river in the Santa Cruz mountains every year. Only now I clip the hooks off my flies. If I feel the bump it makes my week and it's really all I want to experience. With our Coho salmon on the brink and the steelhead right behind them I'd hate to inadvertently kill one.
