4x4 fishing??

I am looking for a trout lake or stream to go to that has moderate 4x4 trail. I have open front and rear so nothing too difficult. Live near Placerville CA. but willing to travel, always willing to meet up with others. Any ideas on mountain 4x4 trails that lead to trout fishing? Hope I posted this in the right forum..

Rock bound lake just a short hike from buck island. I think they use to stock trout there

We ate a trout from Buck Lake a couple weeks ago on our Rubicon run...I did not catch it, a teenage son from our group caught it
