In the last pic the water is about 4ft deep under the ice, the gecko went right across and the old yj went right through the ice. Made for a fun day! Still not sure why the heavier jk made it??

Wow! I never would have gone on that ice...but that's just because im a wus and wouldn't have wanted to get wet and freeze if i had to pull my line! Cool pics!

Not too many pics of my rig doing anything, I'm usually taking the pics haha! When we were by the ice I was using my RZR, makes it easy to lead a ride because I can move back and forth through the group very quickly. It's behind the the gecko jk, can just see the rear end of it. My jeep is an 09 jkur on 37's. Location is about 25min north of Nyack.

The blue 4dr is mine, pretty basic setup. 4" Rancho sport, 37's, rock hard skids, eautogrilles bumper/carrier plus other crap. Works well as the family wheeler. Have a CRC Link and longer shocks to increase articulation going in soon.

My buddy testing some new shoes on his gecko. Yes the grill is orange, he has a spray rig for plastidip and does everybody's rigs all sorts of colors. His jeeps are dif colors every time he shows up. The stuff is cool, spray the jeep, wheel ita few times then peel if off an the real paint looks factory new haha.

Those are 40's on 2" of lift with a 1" bl. He usually runs 37's with no lift and no bl. Just a set stock 4dr rubi springs, cut fenders and pinch seems and some really long shocks. Amazing what you can get out of a base jk with only $200 in the suspension. We have a lot of off camber stuff and try to stay as low as possible, this guy is actually going back to 37's, the 40's are overkill on a 2dr for northeast trails.
