'94 Cherokee

Just bought a 1994 Cherokee sport recently and it had a leak from the oil filter. I figured it is just the o-rings on the oil filter housing but it's angled in a bad spot and I can't what I need to get it off. I tried an Allen key that seemed to fit but it wouldn't budge. Also on a side note I went to replace a rear blinker bulb that was out and it still doesn't work plus when I tried my hazards and shut them off the ticking on the dash continued and the one rear blinker stays on now. Any help would be appreciated.

That doesn't look like something that should come apart IMO. But yes there is likely an oring in there. Are you sure it's leaking from there? Could it be residual oil from the filter near it. Either way, I would think a torx bit would get that out.

They have O rings and they leak. You need a T60 and a breaker bar. They can be hard to get off. If there is not enough room for the breaker bar you need a T60 you can put a box-end wrench on. (and maybe a pipe to put on the wrench)
