‘17 jkur build

I bought my JK used from a local dealer with 305 miles on Odometer. Story is first owner, from Oklahoma, sent it to a budget builder in Dallas and defaulted on first payment.

Started out with 35x20

To date: 37 Cooper STT pros on slabs, Poison Spyder hood louvre, Cobra 75, trimmed fenders and Rubi rails and several other small items I thought were needed.

Going in for 5:13 regear, C gussets and dynatrac ball joints next week, not doing it myself because I don’t want to lay on garage floor and I don’t have a shop since my transfer to West Texas; plus working 12 hours a day six days a week doesn’t leave much time.

Future plans before New Years: JE Reel driveshafts, chromemoly axle shafts, Rock Hard cage, EVO skins, armor, sliders, front bumper, rear fascia, Dynatrac pro-grip Brakes, body mounted tire carrier and bolt on coil overs. From there will see what happens Axles? 40’s?

I don’t have much for pictures, will start taking more as things arrive and are completed. For now a couple before and after pics.

From my short time being on WAL I have learned a lot about the platform and appreciate the knowledge I have gleaned from reading through member builds, particularly since I was into the hot-rods, Harleys and jacked up pickups before, it has led me in a totally different direction than what was originally envisioned for my jeep.
Thanks everyone and any pointers or advice along the way will be appreciated .

Update: I hope all of have had a Happy Thanksgiving with family and friends.

Life got in the way on build past couple of months, haven’t got much done until last weekend. Drag link flip kit installed, I am amazed at the better feel going down the road. EVO rocker armor done, if anyone is doing this mod do yourself a big favor and buy a good nutsert tool, Learned my lesson the hard way. Welding up rock sliders Saturday morning and 1/4 pounder with stinger Sunday at the latest. Will post up some pics this weekend.

Sliders, Rocker Armor, 1/4 pounder and stinger, vac pump relocation kit, Dynomax high clearance exhaust, drag link flip kit and sway bar motor rotation all done. Have to wait on putting winch and lights back on due to my real job, gotta love OT paying triple time over the Holiday.

Thanks to the West Texas wind for taking fenders on my way to weld sliders yesterday, will try a different cut when replacements arrive.

Thinking the uni-brow has to go soon.

Looking good! Saw you mentioned the draglink flip a few posts up. When I did that to my old JK, I couldn't believe how much of a difference it made.
Probably the single most important mod I made for big tires in terms of actual handling. Seems like a small thing, but it really is a night and day difference.

Thank you. The drag link flip makes a huge difference.
