Proabably due to correcting your speedometer with tire size.

I can average 230-250 per tank on my 2dr Rubi on 35s with 2.5 lift. If I'm nice on the "make go fast button"

I average about 18 miles per gallon that is on a 2014 2dr Rubicon on 33x12.50 17 at about 30-32 psi.

Interesting thread. I haven't looked at my data in a while, so this was a good excuse.

    Jeep: 2015 JKU Rubicon
    Tires: Stock
    Lift: Leveling
Most significant 'weight' addition would be EVO armor.

    So far this year:

    Fillups: 55
    Miles: 18,112
    Avg. MPG: 15.9
    Avg. Range: 250
    Cost: $1,647

    MPG Range (low/high): 14.7mpg - 20.6

    No odometer corrections applied.
    2015 JKU Rubi Mileage.jpg

Had to remove a couple statistical outliers around 45 MPG. My motorcycle's got similar miles on the clock, must've mixed with the Jeep

Couple weeks, I'm going to new tires, probably bump up an inch or so. Not quite ready for a major lift. Will be interesting to see what it does to the mileage.

If I go deep into the low fuel light I get right at 300, every road trip we have taken my wife gets about 18 while I get a little over 15 mpg. 14 4dr with 35's and 3:73's auto.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
