In addition to the cool roof top tent that the Rancho Jeep JK Wrangler had at the 2017 SEMA show, there was also something new that one could find if one were so inclined to look for it. As I would come to find, this Jeep also had a new prototype shock that has an adjustable coil built into it. Check it out.

Nice looking build. The shocks look like what's on my four wheeler's. It must work like an adjustable load shock.

Correct! We have found that folks carrying a heavy load/tent on top may benefit from this style.
We have been testing it since last spring in Moab, since then the Rubicon and a ton of other trails.

Is that a redesigned load bearing shock? Kind of interested in that.

This is from our sister company DynoMax, it is A LOT smaller than stock, and not over the top in sound

I was hoping you were going to chime in. The steps are simple design and kinda cool. After the JL release maybe early/late spring mfg. date for the steps? Also thanks for keeping the jeep looking like a jeep!

So knowing us (LOL) we will make them and we will test them on a JL for a while.
I think we are getting our JL (hopefully) end of this year/start of 18.
So maybe (and I am guessing) a summer launch for the JL/JK.
Maybe...

Real world testing :)
I drove (actually wife drove) this JK a few weeks ago in Moab. I forgot what shock was on here and after getting out and looking I was really impressed with this setup!!!
