Teraflex Balljoints

Noticed I had some grease accumulating on top of the balljoint. Is this normal? These have maybe 2k miles on them if that makes a difference.

I think it's normal, had the same thing happen to my stock joints and a little with the dyantrac joints.

I'm guessing it gets pushed out thru the zerk with use

Any pinhole that the pressure of the grease overcomes will allow grease to come out. Looks like it's coming out around the zerk threads. So when you steer or go over bumps, the grease gets squeezed and comes out of any spot it can.

While greasing joints, you should be able to see it come out of seams on your gun hose sometimes even.

Another option is to replace the grease fitting, the spring inside them gets weak and doesn’t seat the ball properly, they are cheap as chips. Just match the tread up with the new one.
