Feeler for Hackett Gulch

Has anyone been up to Hackett lately? Seems like with this mild weather we have had that it might be open. Anyone interested? This coming Sunday. 12/10

Traildamage has an update from 2 weeks ago and looks a fair amount of packed snow. I was up here around 9k Saturday and trails were really icy. Gates are mostly shut up here.

I was up there about a month ago. Ran all three trails. We went up last weekend to get a Christmas tree on Rampart range Rd (not too far away) and the had some ice in low spots in the trees but nothing trail blocking or unpassable.

Met
up with Boardsurfer & Trisha for an outstanding day at Hackett. Perfect weather. South Platte river had ice flowing and we crossed it at Hackett Crossing. Water only up to hubs, but was really really amazing having chunks of ice floating by.
I need to figure out how to post up a short video of that. Awesome day.
