Has anyone used a land anchor and are these worth buying I spend most of my time in the mountains and dessert of Wyoming and don’t always have something to tie off to

Just go old school and bury your spare with a tow strap attached and winch to that. It does the same thing. Just a bit of digging but it’s one less piece of kit to carry.

Their website info videos show it mostly in sand but states that if you are in a more dense soil/dirt you don’t have to dig the hole as deep to get the same pulling ability
