Shock mount

I have a 95 Jeep Wrangler YJ and my shock mount broke in half. I guess I go to hard. But I have welded it back multiple times. I have welded a plate on it and it still broke. Can I weld a new shock mount or do I have to get a new axel. Or do you guys have any better ideas for me. Thank you

Check the angles of the shocks. Something doesn't seem right to break that many times.

Are you getting good penetration on the welds or booger welding? No judgement, my welds are boogery.

Is there a way your shock is too long and bottoming out and breaking the mount?

I don’t believe so because their is no signs of scraping on the bottom of the shocks

I think he was referring to the shock stroke being too long and the internals bottoming out before the axle contacting the bump stop. Not the bottom of the shock contacting something.

As far as I know they are stock shocks. So I do not believe so

Gotta be the weld. Clean the absolute hell out of it. If you have a cheap/weak welder heat the shit out of the metals with a propane blow torch before welding for better penetration. Pics help.
