Wheel spacer question

guys,

I'm planning on putting a 2.5" budget boost on my 2013 JKUR and running 35's. My question is on spacer size. I'm getting mixed info. Do I need 1.5" or 2" spacers to clear? Thank you in advance. PS, this isnt my end goal for the lift, just a bandaid until I get the funds to do it correctly.

I have 35's with 1.5" spacers on stock wheels with a 2" budget lift on a 2013 Sahara with no rubbing but I did trim out the flares flat.

I run a 1.75" spacer with stock wheels and 315/70/17 Duratracs and I have had zero issues so far. No lift, but I did trim my fenders. With 2.5" of lift you shouldnt have any issues running a 35" tire on the stock rim with a 1.5" spacer.
