Not easily. I don't see how that would help in the snow though, they aren't awd.
The front doesn't receive any power in 2wd, the driveshaft spins but is disconnected from the transfer case gears.
CJ's probably act better because they have half the horsepower.
I don't have any issues in snow with mine.

im running BFG all terrain now, on my CJ I had Firestone Mud and snow, with my dana 30 in front and no locking hubs some times you notice it not digging as well
