Lol. I think that picture is probably ten years old now. It seems to revive itself every five years or so. But yes, that was a nasty freak accident.

It wasn't staged, and there are more pictures out there of the incident. If I remember correctly, the branch actually penetrated the driver's leg to some degree. The firewall really isn't very thick.

She is a paramedic and treated the people in it. Thankfully she wasn’t in it! The one got a pretty messed up leg
