Are they as cushy as the 7ks? I’ve never done shocks on a car before but I can compress them with 2 fingers

The 9000s have a switch and you can adjust it to 9 different positions based on how you want your ride to feel.

You can make them way softer then the 7000s. I saw rancho post on another thread that the 9000s set at about 6/7 is equivalent to the 7000s.
I have stiff springs in my JK and run my front shocks at 3 and my rear at 6. When I tow I crank them up to 9 and if I'm loaded with a lot of gear I bump them up to about 7/8.

And it’s literally as easy as turning a dial? What about dirt getting gunned up in there or water? No issues?

The adjuster is sealed pretty well. Rancho recommends a drop of oil behind the knob assembly every now and again.
